Team doctor of the Black Satellites Dr Prince Pambo, has declared skipper Owusu Bempah fit for Ghana’s second game against Zambia on Thursdays.
The Hearts of Oak defender was stretched of early in the second half of Ghana’s 2-0 win against South Africa with fears he could be ruled out of the tournament.
But after checks Dr Pambo says the skipper will be in line to make a return for the game against Zambia on Thursday.
“The injury is not as bad as feared and we will work hard on him to ensure that he is fit for the game on Thursday,” Pambo said
‘’He needed some few days off and he will fine.”
Ghana will seal qualification to the next stage of the competition if they are able to record a win against Zambia after winning their first game.
