Avram Grant has started rebuilding Ghana’s squad with young players ahead of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

The 59-year-old has handed the opportunity to several up and coming stars including Frank Acheampong, Daniel Amartey, Afriyie Acquah, Baba Rahman, David Accam, Solomon Asante and Mahatma Otoo for the continent’s flagship tournament.

Captain Asamoah Gyan, Emmanuel Agyemag-Badu, Andre Ayew, Jonathan Mensah, Harrison Afful and Fatau Dauda are the most experienced players in the squad with a vision for the future.

The Israeli has started rebuilding the squad with focus on the youngsters who are seen as the future of Ghana football.

Grant is not under so much pressure to win the Nations Cup after being tasked with ‘doing well’ at the continental fiesta.
