Nigeria Super Falcons striker, Asisat Oshoala earned her side Bay FC an away victory over Seattle Reign FC in the National Women's League on Sunday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Her lone strike in the first half was all needed to get maximum points away from home at Lumen Field on the night.

Bay FC started with great dominance in the game's early minutes with Oshoala and Kundananji posing great threats upfront.

In the 26th minute, Seattle defender, Phoebe McClernon fouled Oshoala in the box which was ruled for a penalty.

The current African female footballer of the year stepped up and sent Claudia Dickey the wrong way to score her sixth goal of the season and give Bay the lead at halftime.

Bay FC had to hold and defend resolutely to keep the score the way it was till the end of the match.

Seattle Reign will host Angel City FC on Friday. Bay FC will travel to NJ/NY Gotham on Saturday.
