AshantiGold striker Emmanuel Osei Baffour was sent off against Asante Kotoko in their MTN FA Cup quarter-final clash after telling referee Thomas Awuah "f*ck you."

The youngster got lippy just before half-time and paid fully for his act when AshantiGold were down 1-0.

Baffour before his marching off orders was a thorn in the flesh of the Kotoko defenders.

His absence cost the Miners who were seeking to record a double over their sworn regional rivals.

Kotoko managed to post a 2-0 win at the Baba Yara Stadium to reach the semi-final stage.
