Ashanti Gold head Coach Bashiru Hayford has conceded his side was second best in their game against Champions Asante Kotoko.
The Miners failed to win three games on the trot for the first time this season following a 1-0 defeat to Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Before that they lost to Hearts of Lions and were held at home to a resolute New Edubiase side.
But Bashiru Hayford admits on the whole Kotoko showed much desire to win on match day 24.
“We played well but sometimes football does not speak the truth and that’s what happened today,” Hayford said after the game
“Kotoko showed desire and determination and they deserve their victory and I congratulate them.
“We are going home since our next game is at home we will look to bounce back.”
