Defending Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko have announced a justify-your-inclusion exercise for out of contract players.

A statement on the club’s website read: “Kotoko invites out of contract players or Free Agents who have proof of their status and have what it takes to play for the club to report at the club’s training ground.

“Fulfilment of the club’s expectation or requirement will be determined solely by the Head Coach and his technical team.

“Interested players are required to provide their means of transport and subsequent stay in Kumasi throughout the period of the exercise.

“Again, interested players are to report at the club’s training ground at Adako Jachie. The exercise takes immediate effect.”

Kotoko managed to overcome a patchy run of form early on in the season  to end the first round to finish fifth.
