Asante Kotoko winger Frank Sarfo Gyamfi says his side has tasted victory and are desperate to build on their strong showing against league leaders AshGold over the weekend.

The Porcupine Warriors have endured a frustrating season so far and only copped up their most impressive display against AshGold in the league over the weekend.

It doesn’t get easy for the Champions as they face sworn rivals Asante Kotoko over the weekend with both sides desperate for points.

But Gyamfi says they have tasted victory and they are keen on going on.

“We played very well not just against AshGold but in our last four games but it’s because we haven’t been able to win them most people do not see,” Gyamfi said

“We play against Hearts and we are not looking at dropping points.”

“We respect our opponents but that is it we want to get more from there.”
