Asamoah Gyan scored in his second game running to hand Al Ain a precious point in their 1-1 draw with Naft Tehran in the Asian Champions League.

The Ghana captain scored from the spot in the 58th minute to cancel Siamak Kooroshi’s opener for the hosts five minutes into the restart.

Gyan appears to be regaining his hot form as he continues to settle in well at his club on his return from the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

The draw however leaves Zlatko Dalic’s side still searching for their first win of this season’s continental campaign.

Al Ain were held to a goalless draw in their opening Group B clash of this season’s AFC Champions League by Al Shabab.

The Boss remain second in the group ahead of the game between Al Shabab and Pakhtakor later in the evening.
