Tolu Arokodare found the back of the net for Genk in their 1-1 draw against Charleroi in the Belgian Pro League on Friday, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.

The 24-year-old forward continued his impressive form, bringing his tally in the Belgian top-flight to 16 goals and five assists in 28 matches. Across all competitions this season, he has now scored 18 goals.

Arokodare Extends Scoring Lead

Arokodare put Genk ahead in the 71st minute, but Charleroi equalized through Daan Heymans' penalty in the 89th minute.

Despite the result, Arokodare remains the league’s top scorer, with Anderlecht’s Kasper Dolberg second on 14 goals, followed by Adriano Bertaccini with 12 goals.

Genk Maintain Comfortable Lead

The draw takes Genk to 62 points, maintaining a 10-point lead over second-placed Club Brugge. However, they have now recorded two consecutive draws, with two wins and three draws in their last five fixtures.

Genk will look to return to winning ways in their next match as they continue their push for the league title.
