Amuneke Assures more additions to Flying Eagles
Flying Eagles Head Coach, Emmanuel Amuneke has said he is open to bringing in more players to the squad as builds for the future.
Nigeria are defending champions of the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations and are set to book a place in the third round qualifying round of with a 1-0 advantage against Burundi. The sides will meet next weekend at the U.J Esuene Stadium in Calabar.
Amuneke had stuck with a bulk of the players from the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup and whilst he appreciates how much they squad has achieved in that length of time he’s convinced the players can improve on their performances.
Footballlive.ng reported the tune up games the side have embarked on in preparation for the reverse fixture against Burundi. The team routed NNL side,Shekarau babes 5-0 in the first match and thumped Amakson Academy 3-0 on Friday.
