Allegri: 'Ronaldo wants to leave Juventus'

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri said on Friday that Cristiano Ronaldo told him he wants to leave the club.

Sources have told ESPN that Ronaldo is close to finalising a move to Manchester City and he was absent from Friday's training session.

"Yesterday, Cristiano Ronaldo communicated to me that he has no intention of remaining at Juventus," Allegri told a news conference ahead of Saturday's Serie A clash with Empoli. "For this reason, he has not been selected."
