Nigeria Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi scored his first English Premier League goal for Fulham in their hard fought 3-2 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The former Everton man opened score for the Cottages in an end to end encounter at the Craven Cottage which saw a late Willian penalty seal a vital win.

Fulham took the lead after a passing move was swept home by Alex Iwobi for his first Fulham Premier League goal just 8 minutes into the match.

In the 23rd minute, Wolves come from behind with Matheus Cunha heading in a lofted cross at the back post ending the tie at first half 1-1.

In the second phase, Willian put the hosts in the lead just before the hour mark after a controversial VAR decision in the 56th minute.

Tim Ream restored parity 76 minutes after blasting the penalty high into the net following a foul in the box of Fulham.

A dramatic finish the game was as Willian came handy to score his second of the night from the penalty spot 4 minutes into the additional time after 7 minutes was added at full time.

The first win in 5 matches put Fulham 14 after 13 matches with 15 points. They play Liverpool next on Saturday.
