Alex Iwobi was on hand to deliver Arsenal teh equalizer in a pre season that eventually ended 3-2 in favor of the Gunners, but the exciting Super Eagles forward is even more ambitious going into the new season with the EPL club. He broke into Arsene Wenger’s first team last season, proving his ambition on the big stage in the UEFA Champions against Barcelona and on the domestic scene he scored some important goals to help the Gunners secure a second place finish in the League.

So far, the 19-year-old has impressed and no doubt is in Wenger’s consideration for more game time when the season kicks off. He will bid his time but Iwobi has also told the Arsenal website he is willing to take every opportunity ; to perhaps keep the number 17 jersey, and a place in the keenly contested first team.

” The challenge for me is to play as many games as I can, and to try to use the opportunities that I get. Hopefully, like today, I can try to get as many goals and assists as I can.”
