West Brom head coach Slaven Bilic warned his side that they need to be more clinical in front of goal, despite claiming a 2-1 victory at Nottingham Forest.

Goals from Kyle Edwards and Matt Phillips gave Bilic a winning start to his time in charge of the Baggies, but the Croat was far from satisfied with the overall performance of his team at the City Ground.

He told reporters: "What I was not happy with, with the quality we have and the team we have, was something else.

"You do not always have to score goals, but there were situations where we should have created chances and we did not.

"We had five clear opportunities to create a one-on-one; to go clear on goal. I don't mind if we had missed all five of those, but we did not create one.

"We should have created five good chances in the second half. We were one pass, one bit of confidence or one decision short in key moments."

Next up for Albion in the Championship is a visit from Millwall on Saturday 10th August, with the Lions having opened their campaign with a 1-0 win at home to Preston North End.

The Baggies are 4/7 to defeat the Lions at The Hawthorns, while they are 15/2 to secure a 2-0 victory over the Londoners.
