Striker Jordan Ayew has hailed Ghana’s ‘amazing’ squad following their progression to the final of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Black Stars were comprehensive 3-0 winners over hosts Equatorial Guinea in the second semi final game of the tournament played on Thursday night in Malabo.

Goals from Jordan Ayew, Mubarak Wakaso and Andre Ayew sealed the sweet victory in the game that was mightily interrupted by crowd violence.

The Lorient FC striker, who tucked away Ghana’s opener from the penalty spot, has paid glowing tribute to the entire squad for their achievement.

“When we lost our first match, people though we were out,” he told Africanfoottball.com.

“This squad is amazing and we have to congratulate the boys.

“It is not every team that can get to a final and do what we did tonight.”
