Ghana winger Solomon Asante has expressed his side’s readiness ‘to die’ for glory against Algeria on Friday.

The Black Stars need a win to breathe life into their Nations Cup campaign after losing their opener 2-1 to the Teranga Lions of Senegal.

Coach Avram Grant has dropped no hints of altering his starting line-up but it looks like Asante could profit from the changes.

But the diminutive winger says the entire team will respond when called upon.

“We are here as a team and we all have believe in each other as a team,” the TP Mazembe star told GHANASoccernet.com

“We are psychologically ready for the game and we pray for that bit of luck that comes with champions.

“We know what is expected of us and we will do our best to make our nation proud.”
