AFC U-16 Championship 2018 Qualifiers Group A: Jordan 0-0 Uzbekistan
Riyadh: Jordan and Uzbekistan stayed on track to qualifying for the AFC U-16 Championship 2018 Malaysia after settling for a 0-0 draw in their Group A tie at the Riyadh Sports Club on Friday.
The result took both teams to seven points, with Jordan topping the group on superior goal difference.
For Jordan to win the group, they will have to defeat Bahrain who they play in their final match on Sunday.
Jordan started the qualifier on a sensational note as they beat hosts Saudi Arabia 2-1 before following that up with a 7-0 win over Sri Lanka.
Uzbekistan had beaten Bahrain 1-0 and Sri Lanka 6-0 in their first two matches but face a tough final day as they will play Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia will keep themselves in the running should they beat Sri Lanka in Friday's second Group A tie.
