Ade Oguns “Wedingo" completes loan move to KAS Eupen
KAS Eupen has secured the services of Nigerian attacker Ade Oguns, also known as "Wedingo," on loan from Venezuelan powerhouse Caracas FC with the loan agreement set to last until the end of the current season, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Oguns who is a versatile attacking player began his professional career with Lion FC in Nigeria before transferring to Caracas FC at the age of 19. During his time with Caracas FC, he made 68 appearances in Venezuela's top league and cup competitions, contributing an impressive 15 goals and 12 assists.
Most recently, during the second half of the 2023-2024 season, Wedingo was loaned to Wydad AC, a Moroccan first-division club. He continued to demonstrate his attacking prowess, scoring 5 goals and registering 2 assists in 18 matches.
Capable of playing in any offensive midfield position as well as upfront, Oguns offers KAS Eupen valuable flexibility. He has primarily featured as a center forward and left winger throughout his career.
