Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari will be handed a hefty fine by AC Milan for his violent reaction after he was replaced in Saturday’s draw with Torino.
The 30-year-old furiously threw away a Milan shirt as he sat on the bench after being replaced in the 55th minute by Andrea Poli.
Muntari’s shocking reaction has attracted the fury of many football fans – especially ones loyal to the Rossoneri – who are demanding a stiff punishment for the Ghanaian.
Muntari is a known hot-head and has been involved in several altercations in his football career.
Notable amongst them was his physical attack on a Ghana FA official during the 2014 World Cup – one that has seen him cop an indefinite suspension from the Black Stars.
Milan manager Fillipo Inzaghi is expected to recommend a hefty fine be issued as punishment for Muntari’s unruly behaviour according to reports in Italy.
Other reports have attempted rationalizing the reaction of the Ghanaian – claiming his act was in protest of his own disappointing behaviour in the game.
But the Ghanaian is unlikely to go scot free with such an excuse with Milan demanding good behaiviour at all times from their employees both on and off the field of play.

Ghanasoccernet, he simply flung or threw a shirt...not a big deal...and he probably did it because he was frustrated with his own play that day...quit trying to turn it into something it is not...
