2024 Sheroes Award: Ekiti first lady wins big, clinches 'trailblazer award'
The First Lady of Ekiti State, her excellency, associate professor Olayemi Oyebanji scooped the biggest award of the night as she was named the 'trailblazer' of the Year 2024 for her visionary leadership and advocacy for women’s empowerment across Africa continent, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.
She was recognized for her role in establishing Ekiti Queens Football Club and championing the cause of the girl child through sports and education development.
Presenting the 'outstanding ward at the event held at the British Nigerian Academy in FCT, Abuja, the president and founder of the Ratels Sports Development Foundation (RSDF), Chief Paul Edeh, Esq; described the governor’s wife an outstanding, committed and a true pillar of support to the development of sports in general.

Robin Apreala Angonimi bagged a Lifetime Achievement Award for his exceptional contributions towards the growth of women’s football in Nigeria.
Abdul Sule also bagged a Lifetime Achievement Awarded for his exceptional contributions towards the growth of women’s football in Nigeria.
Moses Bako received an award for his exceptional role as a pillar and advocate for women’s football in Nigeria.
Finally Moses Aduku went home with an award for the most outstanding women's coach of the year.
The Award Ceremony had in attendance The President of the RSDF and Benue state FA chairman Chief Barr Paul Edeh, Vice President RSDF Emmanuel Adesanya, Local organizing committee Sheroes cup Coach Illerika Haruna Usman, Dr Robinson Okosun, Deputy Director NFF Mrs Faith Anuga, Mr Moses Bako, members of RSDF, chairmen and Team Managers of participating teams coaches, backroom staffs and players of respective clubs.
