Algeria midfielder Yacine Brahimi says they must adopt a physical approach to outwit Ghana in Friday’s Africa Cup of Nations showdown.

The Black Stars cracked under the physicality of Senegal when they lost 2-1 in their opening group C encounter in Mongomo.

The Ghanaians are back in the midst again when they take on high-flying Algeria in a must-win encounter and the 2014 BBC African Footballer of the Year says, they must be physical against the West Africans.

“We know that it is an athletic team that likes to play. They are  also very technical,” the Porto talisman said

“We know they will cause us problems either in midfield or at the offensive level. We must be able to counter them and impose our game and win also.

“We have to be physical in this game because that provides problems for them. We saw it against Senegal.”
