El-Kanemi Warriors technical adviser Aliyu Zubairu has attributed his team's 1-1 draw against Beninoise side Dadje FC in the CAF Confederation Cup to two reasons, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Despite dominating the match, the Nigerian side struggled to convert their chances, with Gimba Ajiji's late strike salvaging a home draw.

Zubairu who complained to the media about  wasted chances cried over the quality of tune up games his team had in preparation for the game.

“The number of goad we missed is too many, we are very very wasteful in front of goal. We do not have grade A matches to play. Just doing our practice, playing in Maiduguri some grade C matches.” Zubairu said after the game.

The draw leaves the tie evenly poised ahead of the second leg, with El-Kanemi Warriors seeking a crucial away win to progress in the competition.
