Zaidu Sanusi shines in Porto win over Olympique Marseille

Super Eagles left-back Zaidu Sanusi was in action for Portuguese giants FC Porto in their UEFA Champions League game against French side Olympique Marseille on Tuesday.

Zaidu played the entire duration as FC Porto thrashed Marseille 3-0 at the Estadio Dragao to boost their chances of qualifying for the round of 16.

Star striker Moussa Marega put Porto ahead in the 4th minute after connecting with a perfect pass from Jesus Corona.

The visitors had the opportunity to restore parity six minutes later, but captain Dimitri Payet missed a penalty kick .

FC Porto however punished the visitors for their miss as Sergio Oliveira converted their own penalty in the 28 minutes.

They wrapped up the three points in the 69th minute after Luis Diaz made it 3-0.

FC Porto remain second in Group B with six points, three points behind leaders Manchester City who put three past Greek side Olympiacos at the Etihad.
