The Manchester City starlet is a key player for the Africans ahead of the start of the tournament on May 30.

The 19-year-old was crowned the best player at the African Youth Championship held in Senegal in March this year with pundits tipping him to excel for the West African powerhouse in New Zealand.

However, the youngster admits the enormity of the task on his shoulders but insists he won’t buckle under the burden of expectation.

“I wouldn’t say I’m under pressure. When we went for the African Cup there was no pressure on me. I’m feeling same this time.” he said

“I’m just going to give out my best and do what the coaches ask me to do. I will just work hard just the way I did at the African cup.

“I will just go with a free mind, go on the pitch and try to deliver. I am under no pressure at all.”

The Black Satellites recorded an impressive 4-2 win over Qatar in their opening four-nation pre tournament friendly on Monday.

Ghana have drawn record holders Argentina, Panama and Austria in group B.
