Xhaka on relationship with African teammates: “I love how kind they are to other people”

Bayer Leverkusen midfielder, Granit Xhaka has revealed some of the experiences which help his quality relationship with his African teammates, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The former Arsenal defensive midfielder was in high spirit following his club success on Sunday evening.

Leverkusen for the first time in the club’s history won the German Bundesliga and Xhaka being an integral member of the team revealed what promoted his display of utmost respect for his teammate’s mother (Victor Boniface’ mum).

“I grew up with lots of African people, I have one of my best friends from Togo. I love the culture, I love the mentality (and) I love how knobs they are to other people.” Xhaka said.

“Bony is a great guy and he’s got great family.”
