Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Nasarawa United Coach Bala Nikyu has disclosed that his team are ready for the league whenever organisers seems fit to start the league.
Nasarawa United had narrowly missed out of continental places last season after finishing sixth, five points adrift fourth placed Kwara United.
The Solid Miners are preparing in anticipation of the commencement of the league and Technical Adviser, Bala Nikyu says they are ready anytime any day.
The former Nigeria U-17 Women's and Wikki Tourist Coach revealed this piece of information after regulation time in the friendly match against the U-20 Flying Eagles in Abuja on a Friday.
"Concerning the new league season, we at Nasarawa United are ready, irrespective of any date agreed upon to kickstart the new league season."
Nasarawa United played out a one all draw with the U-20 Flying Eagles in an interesting game on Friday.
Though there is no official date from the body saddled with the responsibility to manage the league, the Interim Management Committee (IMC), but there are reports from some media that the league will start on the 28th of December, 2022
