Nigeria U-17 national team continued their preparation to the WAFU B -17 tournament with two wins in friendly matches played on Thursday at the FIFA Goal Project, Moshood Abiola stadium, Abuja, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports
The Golden Eaglets as they are known who played two different teams on the day at different times won 2-0 and 6-0 respectively.
Eaglets defeated Mailantarki FC 2-0 in the first game of the day before scoring two goals in first half and four more goals in second half to beat P. Academy in the encounter.
It will be recalled that the team has played three matches prior to this match, winning their first match at the weekend 4-2 before playing 1-1 against Ikon Allah Academy on Tuesday and 1-1 against Miracle Academy on Wednesday.
Preparations continue for the team ahead of the WAFU B U17 tournament in Ghana where they are placed in group B alongside Burkina Faso, Niger and Togo.
The tournament will take place between May 15 -29.
