The seasoned football administrator has been accused of conniving with Treasurer George Amoako to secure a $9000 loan from the Ghana FA which is unaccounted for.

Executives of GHALCA have threatened to initiate moves to remove Raji from office for embezzling the body’s funds without following due procedures.

But former director of Sekondi XI Wise has rejected these allegations – insisting there is enough proof to exonerate him.

“It can never be true that I secured the loan from the GFA without the consent of my executives,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“This was recorded in the minutes of previous meetings so I don’t know how come some members claim the loan was secured without their consent.

“Now they also say I embezzled the loan which of course is not true.

“The money [loan from GFA] was used to repay a loan secured earlier as part payment to Enugu Rangers for their participation in last year’s President’s Cup.

“There are enough documents to prove that as well.”

Raji revealed a meeting has been called to appropriately deal with the serious allegations leveled against him.
