Ghana have been handed a massive boost ahead of the 2015 World Youth Championship after midfielder Godfred Donsah returned to the Cagliari set-up in their 1-1 stalemate at Juventus over the weekend.

The 18-year-old has been struggling with an injury in recent weeks but shook off the problem to play 68 minutes for Islanders as they picked a valuable point at the Juventus stadium.

Donsah, dubbed the ‘new Michael Essien’seems fit and ready to play for Ghana ahead of the World Youth Championship in New Zealand.

The Black Satellites have been preparing in that country ahead of the start of the tournament on May 30.

They thrashed host New Zealand 9-0 in their latest friendly on Sunday which followed their 4-2 win over Qatar in their opening five-nation tournament.

The ex-Palermo star is expected to join his teammates in camp ahead of the tournament.

Ghana have drawn record title-holders Argentina, Panama and Austria in group B.
