The Nigeria under twenty national side beat Mozambique in their last group stage match of the 2023 U-20 African Cup of Nations in Cairo on Saturday, Nigeriasoccernet.com. reports.

The Flying Eagles advanced into the knockout rounds of the competition thanks to stunning strikes by Samson Lawal and Ibrahim Muhammad.

Nigeria's Flying Eagles will confront either of Uganda, Congo or South Sudan in the quarter final of the Egypt 2023 U20 AFCON on Friday in Cairo.

As second placed team in Group A, Nigeria are billed to face second best team in Group B. Uganda and Congo are joint first in the group with four points each. They have the same goals difference.

The Flying Eagles last 8 foes will emerge today's evening after the conclusion of Group B games.
