TOP STORY: Tottenham eyeing Solanke

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in AFC Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke, reports Fabrizio Romano.

The 26-year-old is reported to be one of the top names on the Premier League side's shortlist, as they look to acquire a forward this month. Spurs are currently in the initial stages of exploring a potential deal, though there is belief that it could be difficult due to his importance to the Cherries' side.

He enjoyed his best Premier League campaign of his career last season as he scored 19 goals while assisting another three in 38 appearances, and remains contracted at the Vitality Stadium until the summer of 2027.

A move for Solanke, who joined Bournemouth for a fee of £19 million in 2019, would be the first acquisition of a number nine since Harry Kane left north London, with manager Ange Postecoglou often deploying Son Heung-Min centrally last season.
