Greek Super League side Aris FC have completed the signing of Nigerian midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru from Sky Bet Championship club Watford, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The 27-year-old has penned a three-year contract with the Thessaloniki-based outfit, bringing an end to his six-year stay at Vicarage Road. He joins Aris after spending the 2025/26 campaign on loan at Turkish Super Lig side Gençlerbirli?i, where he produced a series of consistent performances across 30 appearances in all competitions.
Speaking after completing the move, the former Flying Eagles midfielder expressed his excitement about beginning a new chapter in Greece.
“ARIS is a new challenge in my career, and I am excited to now belong to this club,” Dele-Bashiru told the club’s official website.
The midfielder revealed that he had spoken with teammate Benjamin Garret before making the switch and is eager to contribute to the club's ambitions.
“I have learned a lot about ARIS. I know Benjamin (ed. Garret), who plays here, and I have talked to him enough to get information about my new team.
“I’m joining a team that has high goals, and I can’t wait to get on the field to work with my coach and my new teammates.

A graduate of Manchester City's academy, Dele-Bashiru made his senior debut for the Premier League champions in an EFL Cup match in 2017 before joining Watford in 2019.
During his spell with the Hornets, he featured in 81 matches across all competitions, scoring eight goals and registering four assists.
At international level, Dele-Bashiru represented England at U-16 level before switching allegiance to Nigeria. He later starred for the Flying Eagles at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland, scoring once and emerging as one of Nigeria's standout performers during the tournament.
