Tolulope Ojo euphoria over season's performance, eyes better 2024/25 campaign
Nigerian star Tolulope Ojo, is presently the cynosure of all eyes in the Egyptian and North African football world, due to his outstanding performances in the just concluded Egyptian football league for Pyramid FC as made available to Nigeriasoccernet.com.
Ojo, a former Nigeria U20 star recorded 15 goals and 8 assists in 16 games for the youth team of Pyramid FC. Interestingly, Ojo fondly called OT9, also won 6 penalties for his team, which were converted by the team's designated spot kick takers.
Speaking from his base in Egypt, Ojo said he was delighted with his performances for the team in the just concluded season.
"I thank God for my performances this season. I played 16 games and scored 15 goals with 8 assists. I also won 6 penalties for my team."
Ojo, who once donned the colours of Bendel Insurance and Lobi Stars in the Nigerian league, was quick to attribute his incredible goals haul to his experience with the first team, where he played 3 games and scored one goal.
"It's difficult breaking into the main team. However, I took my opportunities when it came. And of course, the experience impacted positively on games with the youth team.
Ahead of the next season, Ojo disclosed his plans to improve, and take his game notches higher, while winning individual and team's laurels.
