Super Falcons Coach Justin Madugu has revealed that he has been offered a two-year contract by the Nigeria Football Federation after the game against Benin Republic, NigeriaSoccernet.com reports.

Madugu made known the news to the news men at the post-match conference where the Super Falcons played a 1-1 draw in their second leg WAFCON qualifying match against Benin Republic, as Nigeria qualified to the 2026 WAFCON after a 4-2 win on aggregate.

He also revealed that the deal started on October 1st and will run through October 1st of 2027.

Madugu, while responding to the call by Nigerians for him to be given a contract by the NFF, said, "Well, just to clarify issues, the NFF has offered me a 2-year contract with effect from the first of October this year to terminate by October 2027."

He led the Nigeria Women's Football National Team to their tenth African title in Morocco early this year and on Tuesday qualified the team for the 2026 edition.
