Tella proud of Leverkusen's display against Bayern

Bayer Leverkusen winger Nathan Tella has expressed pride in his side's performance despite their 0-0 draw against Bayern Munich, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Nigerian international felt Leverkusen were the better team, but were unable to capitalise on their dominance.

Xabi Alonso's side hit the woodwork twice and missed several good chances, while also preventing Bayern from extending their lead at the top of the table.

"It's frustrating not to get the three points," Tella told the club's official website. "But as a team, we can be proud of how we played. I think we were the best team.

"If we had scored a goal, we would have underlined our dominance. Unfortunately, some games are like that, you don't manage to score."
