Head Coach of Hearts of Oak Herbert Addo, says his team will put behind them the disappointments in the league to put up a strong showing against AS Police in the CAF confederations cup.
The Rainbow club have surprisingly had a disappointing start to the league, picking up just 8 points from a possible 21.
Hearts have seeped in goals with their only clean sheets of the season coming in the league opener against WAFA and the 1-0 win against rivals Asante Kotoko.
Herbert Addo’s side have shockingly conceded 10 goals in seven games and currently sit 12th on the league table just a point above the relegation zone.
But the former Inter Allies trainer says his side will respond on Sunday.
“We understand the requirement and stage on Sunday and we will have to respond in the game,” Addo told Ghanasoccernet.com
“We have not had the best of starts to the league but Sunday is a different game and we will look to put into practice all that we have practiced in training.”
“I am confident that we will get the required result result.”
