The Super Eagles returned to training on Thursday morning at their training camp in Austria, barely 24 hours after their 1-0 defeat to Czech Republic in Wednesday’s pre-World Cup warm-up game.

Head coach Gernot Rorh took charge of the training sessions as the team continue to find the perfect strategy after recording a second successive warm-up defeat following the 2-1 loss to England on June 2 at the Wembley Stadium in London.

Nigeria will play Croatia in their opening group game on June 16 before taking on World Cup debutants Iceland on the 22nd. The last group game will be against a Lionel Messi-led Argentina on June 26.
