Nigeria's Kelechi Iheanacho scored the winning goal for Celtic their 2-1 away win at Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premier League, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports

The Super Eagles striker came off the bench to score the stoppage time winner from the penalty spot, on his Celtic debut.

After a goalless affair in the first half, the deadlock was broken by the visitors after 57 minutes played.

A great cross into the box from Marcelo Saracchi and Daizen Maeda finished with a brilliant diving header.

However, the home side looked set to take a point from the game as Watson brought Kilmarnock on level terms on 83 minutes.

Kelechi Iheanacho who came in the 70th minutes to score for the reigning champions from the spot following a VAR review on 90 plus 6 minutes.

He became only the second Nigerian to score for Celtic, after Efe Ambrose.
