TP Mazembe president Moses Katumbi says he is very proud to have the largest number of player’s at the 2015 Africa Cup.
The DR Congo league champions will be represented by nine players at the competition that be will be held from January 17 to February 8 in Equatorial Guinea.
"I am very happy with the contributions that we at TP Mazembe continue to make to African Football," Katumbi said.
Mazembe's roll at the Africa Cup is led by veteran DR Congo goalkeeper Robert Kidiaba including his Leopards team mates defender’s Joel Kimwaki and Jean Kasusula.
Black Stars winger Solomon Asante, Cote d'Ivoire striker Roger Assale and Malian defender Salif Coulibaly will also represent Mazembe at the Africa Cup.
Zambia's trio of striker Given Singuluma, midfielder’s Rainford Kalaba and Nathan Sinkala, who has just finished a six month loan spell at Swiss club Grasshopper, complete the list .
"It has taken years of passion and dedication to build this team and having the highest number of players at AFCON makes us really proud,” Katumbi said.
