Super Eagles defender, Shehu Abdullahi has bid the fans, players and management of Omonia Nicosia farewell after spending two seasons with them, Nigeriasoccernet can report.
Moved to Omonia Nicosia in Cyprus in 2020 following a successful stint in Turkey with Bursaspor, the former Kano Pillars player established himself as one of the regulars in Omonia Nicosia.
In his emotional farewell message Shehu Abdullahi wrote: "I am honoured to play for Omonia, in two years we have been able to create history.
"For decades, titles were missing in Omonia & I am glad in two years, we won three titles & restored the pedigree of the club.
"This is not a goodbye message, but to say we will see in the future.
"I appreciate the management, coaches, backroom staff, and my teammates for the amazing memories we shared.
"To Omonia fans, I appreciate your support and love, I had an amazing memory. Wishing Omonia success in future endeavours," he concluded.
It is left to be known where his next destination will be but Shehu Abdullahi no doubt will definitely move up the ladder in his career.
