Former Italy NT head coach Angelo Gregucci has advised Lazio head coach Marco Baroni to explore the possibilities of playing Super Eagles midfielder on the wings as he has the abilities to fit in that role ahead of the Europa League game against Real Sociedad, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Gregucci told Lazio Siamo Noi; "He can be proposed again. It makes little difference to him whether he plays as an attacking midfielder or as a winger".
The 23-year-old has mostly played as an attacking midfielder and also a deep-lying pivot, scoring two goals already this season but Gregucci believes he has more to offer on the wings, and with his flair, he can be utilized on both wings.
He has had a brief appearance on the left wing during the club's 1-1 draw against newly promoted Como last week, his display has earned a belief that he can do well on the wings if given much opportunity.
