On Monday, Roma confirmed that Argentina midfielder Javier Pastore has departed the club two years before his contract expired.
Pastore, 32, joined the Italian side from Paris Saint-Germain in 2018 and scored four goals in 36 appearances.
Four years ago, he made the last of his 29 international appearances.
Roma announced on Twitter, "The club can confirm that an agreement has been reached with Javier Pastore for the mutual termination of his contract."
"Everyone at #ASRoma wishes Javier the best of success in his future endeavors," they said.
Pastore moved from PSG on Jul 1, 2018, in a €24.70m transfer to AS ROMA, and according to transfermarkt his market value now is €1.50m, a drastic drop from €15.00m in 2018/2019.
