Senegal announced their readiness for the Africa Cup of Nations after thrashing fellow finalists Guinea 5-2 in a pre-tournament friendly on Tuesday.
The Lions of Teranga opened the scoring through Dame Ndoye who connected a rebound after Moussa Sow’s effort was parried back into play.
On the 45th minute mark, Ndoye grabbed his second to double Senegal’s lead before the half-time whistle.
In the second half, coach Alain Giresse made changes but they still dominated play.
A well delivered corner-kick by Henri Saivet was headed into the net by Kara Mbodji.
A few minutes later, Alfred Ndiaye scored Senegal’s fourth goal off a pass from Ndiaye.
Kevin Constant pulled one back for Guinea by converting a penalty after Gana Gueye committed a foul inside the penalty area.
At the death, Moussa Konaté dribbled the Guinea goalkeeper to slot home to make it 5-1.
But before the final whistle came in, Constant converted another spot-kick by beating Pape Demba Camara to make it 5-2.
Senegal will be preparing to leave their camping for Mongomo for the tournament.
Alain Giresse’s side will play Ghana in their opener on 19 January.
