Ryan Giggs says Kobbie Mainoo is ‘still young, still learning’

Ryan Giggs has praised Kobbie Mainoo’s performance in the Manchester derby, despite Manchester United’s 1-0 defeat by Manchester City.

Mainoo played the full 90 minutes in the match, and former Manchester United midfielder Giggs highlighted the young player’s contribution.

Giggs also compared Mainoo’s vision with that of Paul Scholes. He believes Mainoo could improve his game by adding more long-range passing to his existing strengths in dribbling and short passing.

“Still young, still learning,” Giggs said of Mainoo.
