Romanian side Astra Giurgiu terminate Sadat Bukari's contract by mutual consent

Sadat Bukari has left Astra Giurgiu after having his contract terminated by mutual consent, leaving the attacker to complete a move to Ukrainian side Metalist Kharkov.

The Romanian side announced on Wednesday it has agreed to part ways with the players who spent two and half years at the club.

"Striker Sadat Bukari and Astra have understood with respect to the termination of his contract, which expires in the summer,” a statement on the club’s official Facebook page read.

"The Club wishes him good luck in his work as a football player as well as many professional and personal achievements.”

The former Heart of Lions goal-machine has been linked with a move to Ukraine and is now free to discuss a deal with other clubs as a free agent.

The ex-Ghana Under-20 strike made 46 appearances for the club and scored 14 goals.
