Rio Ave key midfielder Alhassan Wakaso named in Portuguese Liga Team of the Week

Alhassan Wakaso has been named in the Portuguese Liga Team of the Week after last week’s round 2 fixtures.

The 23-year-old midfielder was in top form as his side Rio Ave beat Sporting Braga 1-0 last Friday with ten men.

Last season, he played 29 matches.

Alhassan’s elder brother is Ghana international Mubarak Wakaso.
