The season has no doubt produced results beyond expectations. The likes of Bendel Insurance, Doma United who got promoted from the lower division last season have taken the league by storm, punching far above their weights and with about 4 match days left, there is all to play for in the qualification for the Super Six and in attempt to beat the drop.

Bendel Insurance look destined for a place in the Super Six after their matchday fifteen 2-1 win over El-Kanemi Warriors yesterday in Benin.

With 7 points clear off second place Enyimba, their place among the Super Six teams looks almost secured.

Enyimba vs Remo Stars

Today in Aba, it will be an intensed battle when Remo Stars visit Enyimba. With both teams still much in line for a place in the Super Six, today's clash will play a determining role in whether or not they will be at the Super Six.

Second with 24 points, Enyimba need the 3 points to close the gap between them and Bendel Insurance. Plateau United vs Nasarawa United

This is a case of a team who desperately need a win to continue their push for a place in the Super Six and another who looks dead although not buried for the NNL.

Nasarawa United are a shadow of themselves this season and unless they start getting results everywhere might play in the NNL next season.

Plateau United although have not lived up to expectations this season are still much in contention for the Super Six.

This North Central fixture promises to be interesting as both teams have their target as they meet today. A draw won't be a bad result for Nasarawa United who are really struggling to found their footings but for Plateau, a draw will cause damages to their Super Six ambition.
