Rangers Int'l strip Olusesi of captaincy

Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Rangers International of Enugu has stripped defender Tope Olusesi of the team's hand band.

Olusesi who has been an integral part of the seven times league champions since 2016 is no longer the captain.

 

Though no reason was given by the club, but reports have it that the experienced defender is on the verge of a move out of the People's Antelope.

Defender Uche John Akabueze has been announced as the new captaint after management and technical crew approved his selection by teammates.

 

Skipper, Uche John, who takes over from Tope Olusesi has featured in over sixty-six NPFL matches.

He will be assisted by the duo of Ugochukwo Ugwuoke and Ebuka Franklin.
