Goals from Ekene Awazie, Emeke Obioma (x2), Adekunle Adeleke, and Othuke Egbo saw Enyimba come from a goal down to thump their opponents.
The People's Elephant had lost to Dakkada International in Eket Stadium on Friday by a goal to nil.

Prior to the match, Enyimba defeated Akwa United by two goals to one in their first pre season match ahead of the 2022/2023 season.
