GHANAsoccernet.com rates the performance of the Black Stars against the Bafana Bafana.

RAZAK BRIMAH (GOALKEEPER) 6.5

Enjoyed a good game and some a couple of timely interventions. There was little he could do about the South African goal.

HARRISON AFFUL (RIGHT-BACK) 6

Worked tireless along the rest of the team in the second-half.

BABA RAHMAN (LEFT-BACK) 7

Assisted the second goal with a brilliant cross. Great show!

JONATHAN MENSAH (CENTER-BACK) 6.5

He was solid at back and in the first half came in with some clearances. Mensah's height played to his advantage.

 DANIEL AMARTEY (CENTER-BACK) 6.5

Replaced early in the second-half due to injury. But good performance before his replacement.

AFRIYIE ACQUAH (DEFENSIVE MIDFIELD) 6.5

The did well to stabilize the midfield and make Ghana thick to sustain pressure on Bafana Bafana.

WAKASO MUBARAK (RIGHT MIDFIELD) 8

The Celtic man justified why he deserved to start and he got himself 'dirty' for the team with his tackles and covered every blade on the pitch. He effected all corner-kicks and free-kick for the team. He helped to lubricate the midfield and was a driving force behind Ghana's surge.

He tormentor on the right flank for Ghana and sent in some decent crosses but South Africa dealt with them coolly.

He had a free role on the pitch and played a role in both goals for Ghana. He mis-hit shot at goal found Boye who converted from inside the box and had to out-jump his marker to head in the winner.

JORDAN AYEW (FORWARD) 6.5

The youngster missed early chances and was passive before his substitution.

ASAMOAH GYAN (FORWARD) 6.5

The captain had a normal day and was not at his intimidating best.
